* charitable organisation name;
Moca Cymru
Museum of Contemporary Art, Wales

* objects (including details of beneficiaries);
To build confidence and life skills amongst children and young people through engagement with art and art processes. To develop a health creative audience for visual and performance art in Mid Powys growing to further afield and throughout Powys with collaborative events and projects with other organisations. To use our host website to engage new members and groups to get involved in projects that teach, develop and provide a social hub around the creative scope of art practise. The legacy being a strong generation of young people that through projects gain confidence and balanced belief and judgement to make choices and informed choices about their lives, whether that includes art or not is not important. Mocacymru is about providing skills, engagement, appreciation and rounded individuals who can think and determine healthy future in Mid Wales. Individuals will work on their own and as a group to make work that will go on to reflect a sense of identity and provide a visual response to a local audience about the area the community come from. Local businesses will also be invited to sponsor, engage and invite commissions from groups through MOCACymru to make work that they will show within their businesses.
